  • Q: What’s new for 2023?

    A: Molitor’s Haunted Acres will be OPEN for the 2023 season!! By popular demand, we are excited to share that we will be offering a WALK-THROUGH ONLY experience once again. A lot of hard work and planning is going on behind the scenes in preparation for this year’s attraction. We are working on adding trails through our haunted woods and new thrills throughout our houses. As we continue to make adjustments and plans for October, be sure to check in on our Facebook page for updates and more information. We look forward to SCARING you this October!

  • Q: Important information for your visit.

    A: WEAR APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR for an outdoor experience. The trail may be uneven, rough, muddy, etc. Plan accordingly.

    Due to the uneven terrain, you must be able to walk unassisted. Strollers, wagons, and walkers are prohibited.

    Maximum group size to begin the attraction will be 6 or less. 4 is recommended for the best walk-through experience.

    Before purchasing your ticket, please read the attendance waiver below:

    Enter at your own risk. No persons or parties associated with this event are responsible for any occurrences that may result from your entrance. Do not enter if you are not wearing appropriate shoes. You will be exposed to many uneven surfaces that may cause you to trip. No running or pushing and stay on the marked pathway. Do not enter if you are pregnant, subject to epileptic seizures, have heart problems etc. Do not touch the walls/ wood to avoid splinters.

    Smoking, cigarette lighters, and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Police are on site and will remove intoxicated guests without a refund. Do not carry children through the attractions in your arms. You will be exposed to strobe lights, loud noises, scary / horror scenes, intense visual effects, and theatrical fog that may affect those with or without asthma. Prepare to be scared. Not recommended for those under the age of 10. At any time, you may be asked to leave for inappropriate behavior or violations explained above and will not receive a refund. By purchasing a ticket and entering the haunted attraction/property you agree to all of the above and take full responsibility for ALL of your actions whether intentional or accidental. Molitor’s Haunted Acres Inc. and any of its affiliates may not be held responsible in any case.

  • Q: What makes Molitor’s Haunted Acres a MUST SEE Central MN Attraction?

    A: Each year our season wraps up, we eagerly anticipate the next haunted season thinking of exciting and creative ways to bring your nightmares to life. Some of our staff have been here scaring with us since our ground-breaking debut back in October 1998. We’ve been around for more than 2 decades and are so proud to have three generations involved with the preparation. For us, it never stops. We are thinking about Halloween all year long. Our love and passion for October goes into everything we do.

  • Q: Do I need to purchase an online ticket in advance?

    A: For your convenience, ticket sales are available ONLINE or AT THE DOOR. Online ticket sales close 4:00 pm on the day of the haunt. Ticket sales are available *at the door if you are purchasing after 4:00 pm.

  • Q: Do I need to print my ticket?

    A: You can display your ticket through mobile on the Eventbrite app, or print out the pdf ticket sent to you in a confirmation email. All guests must CHECK-IN AT OUR TICKET BOOTH. There you will receive a token to enter the line to the entrance of our haunt.

    DISCLAIMER: Online tickets MUST arrive 20 minutes before the on-site token booth closing time. This will ensure entrance. Please check the hours of operation prior to arrival.

  • Q: What if I need to switch my date?

    A: PLEASE TRY TO HONOR YOUR ORIGINAL DATE. If you have an extenuating circumstance, please do not call the Grill & Bar, but arrive with your ticket and we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Q: Are you open rain or shine?

    A: YES We are open rain, shine, and snow. Only under extreme weather we will post notice on facebook and our website. If we experience extreme weather conditions and are forced to close, tickets purchased for that day of the event will be honored at a later date of your choice. Please arrive at a later date of choice and show the ticket booth attendee your ticket. We will honor your purchase. Please DO NOT call the Grill & Bar.

  • Q: How long does it take to wait in line?

    A: In general, we try to keep the wait time to under 1 hour. However, on busier nights, the lines will be much longer. Try to arrive earlier or on a weeknight if you would like to avoid the longer lines!

  • Q: How long does it take to go through the Haunted Walk-Through?

    A: That depends on many factors. First you must buy your tickets to receive a token, then wait to enter the haunt. Once you enter, you walk through our haunted woods and houses. The walk-through typically takes 45 to 60 minutes. Unless you are lost, it could be all night.

  • Q: When Are The Lines The Shortest?

    A: Fridays and Saturdays will be busy due to higher demand. You can enjoy a shorter wait by purchasing a Fast Pass Ticket. Coming on Wednesday or Thursdays usually have shorter wait times.

  • Q: Can My Kids Come?

    A: Molitor’s Haunted Acres can be very frightening and an entertaining haunt. There are dark places and questionable scenes. Our age suggestion is 12 years old, but we have found that each kid responds differently to the haunt. Under 10 no way!

  • Q: Do You Accept Credit Cards?

    A: Yes, we do. For your convenience,We also have a ATM on Site.

  • Q: Are Fast Passes available?

    A: Fast Passes are available for purchase ONSITE only. This will bring you to the front of the line of main entrance to the haunt. The price will vary depending on the night of your visit.

    If you have purchased your General Admission ticket online and would like to upgrade, you may request an upgrade when you arrive at the ticket booth for your token.

  • Q: Do You Have Security?

    A: Yes. We do have security on site to keep our guests safe. We do not tolerate aggressive or belligerent behavior for the safety of our guests and staff.

  • Q: Are You Wheelchair Accessible?

    A: Unfortunately due to our 2020 adjustments, we are not wheelchair accessible this year.

  • Q: What Time Do You Close?

    A: The ticket booth closes at 9:30 pm Wednesday and Thursday, and at 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. The haunt closes once all guests have enjoyed the show and have been found.

    Online ticket purchases must arrive 20 minutes prior to the above-listed closing times. This will ensure entrance to the line for the haunt.

  • Q: Do You Have Group Discounts?

    A: Yes, must be a group of 25+ people. Group rates are available ON-SITE ONLY. Prices will be based on the Door General Admission ticket.

    Purchase must be made with one transaction for the group.

  • Q: What are your Covid-19 safety precautions?

    A: Here at Molitor’s Haunted Acres, the health and safety of our guests, staff, and vendors are of utmost importance. The guidance outlined below follows MN state recommendations.

    We will not require proof of vaccination for our guests, staff, and vendors.

    Our staff is dedicated and working hard to ensure a healthy and safe environment. 

    Masks are not required, but optional

    Group sizes of 4-6 are encouraged for the best guest experience.

    COVID-19 WARNING: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

    By visiting Molitor’s Haunted Acres you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

  • Q: Is There Concessions On Site?

    A: Yes, concessions will be available onsite. Additionally, Molitor’s Quarry Grill & Bar is just steps away, where we celebrate the haunted season in full! You will experience unique, themed weekends from our staff throughout the month of October, and can enjoy refreshments of your choice and featured drinks.

  • Q: Is Molitor's Quarry Grill and Bar Open?

    A: Yes, just steps away we are open year round. Complete or start your evening with our featured spooktacular drinks and food for the season.

GUIDELINES & RULES

  • 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Molitor’s Haunted Acres is not responsible for lost items and any injury due to participation in or attendance of Molitor’s Haunted Acres.
  • Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.
  • Touch of the props, actors, sets or environment in any way is prohibited.
  • Outside food, beverages, and alcohol are prohibited.
  • No outside alcohol allowed on the grounds.
  • No weapons drugs or illegal substances of any kind are prohibited.
  • Use of profanity, heckling, hitting, or pushing of actors and other guests will not be tolerated and you will be escorted off the property.
  • Use of cameras, cell phones, flash lights, lasers, glow sticks, etc. during the haunt are prohibited.
  • Molitor’s Haunted Acres features special effects, high-impact scares, and strobe lights. Please take caution in entering  if you are pregnant, claustrophobic, using crutches or in a cast, have any type of heart condition, epilepsy, respiratory issues, or back pain.
  • Caution you will be walking on uneven grounds. Wear appropriate shoes for hiking.
  • You must be escorted out by security if you decide not to continue with the haunt.
  • Purchase or use of an admission ticket gives your consent to Molitor’s Haunted Acres to use your image in pictures or films resulting from any commercial photography and filming performed during the event.
  • Molitor’s Haunted Acres reserves the right to remove those in violation of any of the above instances without refund. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
  • NO REFUNDS: All sales are non-refundable. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for a later event date.
  • Molitor’s Haunted Acres property, you agree to all of the above and take full responsibility for ALL of your actions whether intentional or accidental.
